Electric Vehicle Charging Station
Put Montrose on your electric vehicle travel route with a boost from one of several charging stations. A new station, located at the corner of North First Street and North Uncompahgre Avenue in the heart of downtown Montrose, features eight Tesla Superchargers and two ChargePoint Dual Platform (CCS & CHAdeMo) fast chargers.
The installation was made possible by a partnership between Delta-Montrose Electric Association, ChargePoint, Tesla, the Colorado Energy Office, and the City of Montrose.
The City of Montrose also has a free-to-use electric vehicle charging station at the public parking lot near Centennial Plaza at 501 S. First Street. The station is equipped with a dual-cord, Level 2 charger with an estimated 10-20 miles per hour of charge, depending on your vehicle.
The downtown charging station locations afford EV drivers with plenty to do while they are topping off their car.
Additional charging stations are located at Montrose Memorial Hospital and the Montrose Community Recreation Center. See the interactive map below for specific charging station information.
Locate the charging station nearest you with the U.S. Department of Energy's Alternative Fueling Station Locator.
