Jimmer's Back Country BBQ are family owned and operated establishments. We offer friendly service, family friendly atmosphere and some of the best BBQ, you have ever had. We opened our 1st location at 439 E. Main St. in Cortez, CO in September of 2012. After a couple years in this nice little tourist community, we decided to branch out to Montrose Colorado where we have other friends, family, and loyal customers, that really wanted us to be closer to them. The 3 hr drive from Montrose to Cortez was worth it, however, that made it so our fans couldn't have our delicious BBQ several times a week. Our Montrose location at 1140 N. Townsend, was opened in October of 2015. Another nice, smaller community within a stones throw from bigger areas such as Grand Junction and tourist towns like Ouray and Telluride.
