El Jimador opened its doors in 2004 when Jesus and Maria Luquin decided to bring their culinary experience together and create unique and original recipes with all the seasonings of Famous Jalisco, such as Carne asada and the Arroz (rice) with its delicious style. Each plate is crafted with its own original taste.
Jesus has always been passionate about culinary sazon and Maria comes from a family of entrepreneurs, which makes them a perfect team to collaborate in bringing the home made special seasonings to the area. They would like to keep expanding the culinary taste to other regions as well. This Montrose location was the first Jimador Restaurant to come to exist in Colorado.
