Daily Bread Bakery and Cafe

The bakery/cafe 23 years strong is located in one of the downtown historical buildings on the corner of Main & Cascade Streets. The atmosphere is very friendly and many old antiques from early settlers and the old west adorn the inside of the building. When you walk into the restaurant, you will get a warm/homey feeling and great smells will come wafting through the open kitchen area which is visible for all to see! You are immediately tempted by the many styles of hand-made pastries that visually are unmistakably decadent. You have arrived at the station where you order either your breakfast or lunch. When the wait person greets you, at once you know that they genuinely care about you and want to please you according to your taste preferences. There is no rush laid back! Take time to make the right decision concerning what you would like to order. The choices of ordering range from a wonderful breakfast or lunch made from truly fresh ingredients. The owners have a farm/ranch and grow produce as well that brings local beef, pork, vegetables and fruit into the restaurant. The family-run business takes great pride in being able to make great selections from scratch using the best of ingredients to please you the customer! Besides breakfast and luncheon items, specialty coffee and drinks are available to enjoy with a pastry, slice of pie, cookies, bars or brownies. You can sit and relax, chat and visit with like-minded people or meet some real local characters!! Likewise, there is also a quaint dining area for those needing some seclusion from the outside world!! Lastly, for 23 years the staff and same owners have been environmentally conscience and have recycled any waste products back to the farm and as well use the local recycle center instead of local landfill as much as possible.
