Erin Easton, the Founder of New Leaf Coaching and a Mindfulness Based Health and Life Coach, will present a six-part series introducing the basics of mindfulness.
This series is designed to bring more PEACE, PURPOSE, and HAPPINESS into your life by increasing your awareness of what's going on inside and around you and engaging with it in healthier ways letting go of what no longer serves you.
- Week 1: The foundation of mindfulness: Breathing and settling. Tuesday, October 26 at 7pm, in the library’s Meeting Room. - Week 2: Mindful of the body: Reconnecting with sensation and body scan. Monday, November 1 at 7pm, at New Leaf Mindfulness Coaching. - Week 3: Mindful consumption: Becoming aware of how your consumption nourishes you and eating meditation. Tuesday, November 9 at 7pm, in the library’s Meeting Room. - Week 4: Mindful of your thoughts: Discovering the nature of thoughts and shifting into positive thinking. Tuesday, November 23 at 7pm, in the library’s Meeting Room. - Week 5: Mindful of your emotions: Becoming aware of your relationship to emotions and who you become in emotional states. Tuesday, November 30 at 7pm, in the library’s Meeting Room. - Week 6: Mindful intentions: Learning how to use mindfulness to connect with others and meta meditation. Tuesday, December 7 at 7pm, in the library’s Meeting Room.
