The Colorado Mountain Club (cmc.org) Western Slope Group is sponsoring two presentations on Hiking Safety. The first one at the Montrose Library Tuesday May 13 at 6:45pm and the second one at the Montrose Recreation Center Wednesday May 14 at 6pm. The presentation will be given by Tom Maceyka who has been hiking and climbing for 50+ years, and will share tips and tricks to hike safely when in the backcountry. All are welcome!
